MiKiDO Champion wins MMA Title 2008

February 23, 2008, Battlefield Championships in Fredericksburg, VA. Brent “Mongoose” Hess of Franconia, Virginia won another title belt for his coach and father Master Mike Hess, coach of Team MiKiDo. Brent won a unanimous decision in an exciting main event fight at the Battlefield Championships in Fredericksburg, VA on February 23, 2008. He defeated Rusty Cook from North Carolina for the Featherweight 145 lb. Title

This is the 70th championship title for Coach Mike Hess who was voted the #1 Coach in the USA and is being considered for the Guinness Book of Records.

Brent recently graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a minor in Marketing. He will now be teaching MMA and Martial Arts in the Northern Virginia Area to kids and adults. While not teaching for MiKiDo Martial Arts, he also stays busy personal training individuals in the area and coordinating fundraising events for the MiKiDo Amateur Team and the MiKiDo Foundation.
